Lo, but not necessarily behold, it was Joan of Arc. Then she announced that we had another visitor from beyond. Joy gyrated and cracked one-liners for a while. White Elk talked about the state of human life and the rights and wrongs of the world. We were visited by another entity, White Elk, who also sounded like a woman. We could have sung Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Perhaps Joy was really Nanook of the North and we had been transported to the North Pole. I was busy trying to sit on my feet to keep them warm since the air conditioning was going full blast. The dog was still snoring, and everyone but me sat riveted. We sang another round of She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain. He pontificated on the rights and wrongs of the world and the state of human life. Then Kahuna came in sounding very much like a woman but without our channeler's Southern accent. Well, I've never been there, so I tried to remember a shot from an old TV show Hawaiian Eye. She asked us to visualize the Hawaiian Islands as they are today. Joy was serving as master of ceremonies that evening. The first entity to come through was a woman named Joy, who sounded just like Alvin and the Chipmunks with a bit of Lilly Tomlin's Edith Ann thrown in. She told us her entity (the spirit of a deceased person being channeled through her) liked "upbeat songs." We then joined hands, the lights were dimmed and the channeler got down to work. Led by Jane, the channeler's mother, we first sang a couple of choruses of She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain and You Are My Sunshine, followed by the Lord's Prayer. Our channeler told us that we had some surprises because she had meditated that day and knew who would be coming through.
